We are committed to embracing new technologies to convert our operations into sustainable, eco-friendly ecosystems. We have already made substantial progress in reducing emissions across our automation workflows, deploying smart grid controllers and advanced IoT sensors in HAPL Control.
We also have proprietary technology to optimize energy usage in manufacturing processes, significantly cutting down energy waste in Aditya Almirah and MSP Kitchen setups. On successful implementation of this strategy, Honesty Group targets to become net-carbon zero by 2035.
In 2021, in line with Honesty's net-zero carbon commitment, we sourced purely recycled steel and eco-friendly alloys for all new manufacturing batches.
Starting early, Honesty Group helped set up a reverse supply chain for manufacturing waste. This helped provide employment to many while simultaneously reducing landfill waste from our production units.
This initiative also helped entrepreneurs set up recycling units over two decades, taking our overall industrial recycling rate to one of the highest in the sector, at 85-90%.
Honesty is proud to support this as one of the largest integrators of sustainable automation in India, saving over 5 million metric tons of CO2 annually.
To enhance our circular economy footprint, we are doubling our recycling capacity to support India in maintaining an over 90% sustainable material recovery rate.
